ESCUELA VERDECOSTA RICA
Centro Educativo Costa Ballena is a bilingual English/Spanish school located on the Southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
M-System presented a feasibility study looking at the needs and issues of the current school and its specific hilly topography. Creating an extension, reorganizing and looking at the circulation and drop-off zone whilst embracing the natural environment of the school.
Costa Rica's extremely rich cultural, historical and natural environment provided the inspiration of the three concepts (Wigwam, Forest Pods and Stone Spheres).
